Cancelling a pre-order
You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it ships. Email orders@ndangered.com with your order details and we refund everything you paid, including delivery, to your original payment method within 14 days of your email.
Before pre-orders open, each product page will show an estimated dispatch window. If we can't ship within it, we email you and you can cancel for a full refund.
You can also cancel after your order has shipped, but you'll need to send it back once it arrives.
Changing your mind after delivery
You have 14 days to cancel, starting the day after your order is delivered. If it comes in more than one parcel, the 14 days start the day after the last one arrives. You don't need to give a reason.
To cancel, email returns@ndangered.com before the 14 days are up. Any clear message saying you want to cancel is enough. You can use the model cancellation form at the end of this page, but you don't have to.
You then have a further 14 days, starting the day after you tell us, to send the item back.
Items should come back unworn, unwashed and with the tags on. You can try something on to check the size and fit, as you would in a shop. If it has been handled more than that and is worth less as a result, the law lets us take that loss in value off your refund.
You pay the return postage, unless the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong thing. Use a tracked service if you can.
Refunds
When you cancel after delivery, we refund you within 14 days of getting the item back, or of you sending us proof that you've posted it if that comes first.
The refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid. It doesn't include the extra cost of any premium delivery you chose.
The money goes back to your original payment method, through Stripe, in the currency you paid in. If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay, it goes back to the card linked to it. There's no fee. Your bank may take a few days to show it.
Size swaps
If something doesn't fit, email us with the size you want. If we still have it, we swap it. If we don't, we refund you in the same way as any other return.
The item you send back should be in the condition described above, and you pay the postage to send it. If you'd rather have your money back, you can cancel instead while you're within the 14 days.
Faulty, wrong or damaged items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, what we sell must match its description, be fit for purpose and be of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty or isn't what you ordered, you can do the following.
- Within 30 days of delivery, reject it for a full refund.
- After 30 days, ask us to repair or replace it. You can also ask for this in the first 30 days instead of a refund.
- If a repair or replacement isn't possible, doesn't fix the fault, takes an unreasonable time or causes you significant inconvenience, ask for a price reduction or reject the item for a refund. This is called the final right to reject.
If you use the final right to reject within six months of delivery, you get a full refund. After six months, the law lets us deduct an amount for the use you've had.
A fault that shows up within six months of delivery is taken to have been there when you got the item, unless we can show otherwise. After six months, it's for you to show that it was. You can bring a claim up to six years after delivery, or five years in Scotland.
We pay the return postage for faulty or wrong items. Any refund goes back to your original payment method within 14 days of us agreeing you're owed one.
An order is our responsibility until it's delivered to you, or to someone you've asked to receive it. If a parcel is lost or damaged on the way, tell us and we'll replace the item or refund you. If it arrives damaged, you also have all the rights above.
How to start a return
- Email returns@ndangered.com with your order details. The receipt Stripe emailed you has them.
- Tell us which item it is and what you'd like us to do.
- We reply with the address to send it to.
- Post it back and keep your proof of postage.
